it was about this shade of purple

so, i go to a friends house to spend the night. it seems that most of the tenants that live in her complex can hardly find the trash barrels. Well, in her front yard what do you suspect we found? (don't worry no one would ever get the answer) yes, it was purple, and yes, it vibrated and yes it was about seven inches long.

now, here's the question. how does someone go about losing such a thing? does it fall out while you're walking to your car? or perhaps you decide to use it outside for a thrill? or what if the dog sees it and decides it his new play toy?

if anyone has an answer or theory, i'd love to hear it.

comment has been deleted? why is that i must ask? my theory on this issue is that someone, not mentioning names used this purple treasure outside. it has been getting a lot nicer outside lately and i think that that someone must really enjoy nature. you mention someone just dropping and not noticing? i think not. who wouldn't notice dropping something purple, vibrated, and i'm thinking it was 9 inches long. theory stands strong.

i still go with the theory that it just fell out and someone was too embarrassed to pick it up. judge rules: theory good.

of course you would think that you are the judge. i veto that plan. back to my original statement, how could someone drop that and not notice? i would also like to point out that if this person did drop it (not likely) and then came back and realized that they dropped it, why would they be embarressed to pick up something that was so "close" to them? i solved the mystery, i have to give myself a pat on the back.
